Our Journey, A Story of Passion and Purpose

The Mayflower journey began when our Managing Director, James O’Brien, found himself at a crossroads. After two decades in hospitality and six years in the food industry, the global pandemic sparked a desire for change. Disillusioned by the traditional structures, James knew there had to be a better way for the emerging Vegan and Plant-Based sectors. But the food industry wasn’t ready to lose him!

In 2021, a former client reached out, and from a simple home office, James launched Mayflower Management Solutions. With a vision to empower small and medium-sized manufacturers, James set out to challenge the status quo. The business grew quickly, driven by a clear mission: to give European Vegan and Plant-Based food producers a fighting chance in a competitive market.

What started with one person and a computer has grown into a thriving enterprise, serving numerous companies and expanding its range of services.
